Following improving weather conditions we have been given the go ahead for TAMAR to be towed to Falmouth tomorrow ( Wednesday 10 April )
The ferry is scheduled to leave Torpoint at approximately 1600, with the journey expected to take around eight hours. As we will have the tugs alongside the north side of the TAMAR between approximately 1430 and 1600 to support the removal of the second chain and the ferry’s departure from the Torpoint slipway, it will be necessary to reduce to a one ferry service during this period. We apologise for any potential inconvenience this may cause and will ensure that a two ferry service is re-instated as soon as possible.
