This Notice explains how we use and share personal information which may be collected from the 2022 Consultation

The consultation questionnaire we will only be collecting your postcode as personal information to assist us in analysing responses received using geographical areas. This Information will only be used in relation to the 2022 Consultation.
By completed and returning the questionnaire you are consenting to us using your personal data in line with the General Data Protection Regulations(GDPR). Should you wish to withdraw your consent at any time following return of the questionnaire please contact the Data Protection Officer.
Your personal data will be treated confidentially and will only be used for the Consultation exercise. This information will be shared with a third-party company (Power Marketing) who are employed by Tamar Bridge & Torpoint Ferry Joint Committee to analysis and report on the information obtained from the consultation questionnaire. We have ensured that Power Marketing are complaint with GDPR in the processing of data and the relevant contracts are in place.
There are also safeguards in place for transportation of data from ourselves to Power Marketing including password protection and encryption of data, and no data will be processed or stored outside of the United Kingdom.
Data obtained from the Consultation is to assist in making informed decisions on the revision of toll charges across Tamar Bridge & Torpoint Ferry. Any revision is subject to the Transport Charges &c. (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1954(a) and data including personal data will only be retained until legal requirements of a revision are complete. After completion data both paper based and electronic will be destroyed using actions compliant with GDPR.
Under the GDPR, you have rights as a data subjects to access and control your personal data.
